Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Impulse Technology Consulting BV, trading as Restodoo (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website restodoo.be, why we process it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

01 Who is responsible for your data

  • ControllerImpulse Technology Consulting BV
  • Registered officeKalmthoutse steenweg 118B, 2990 Wuustwezel, Belgium
  • Enterprise no.0795.196.793
  • VATBE 0795.196.793
  • Email[email protected]

02 What data we collect

  • Contact form. When you send us a message we collect your name, your restaurant, your email address, and whatever you choose to add: the town, a phone number, the kind of place and how many locations you run, roughly how many covers you do on a full service, what system you use today, and your message. The language you were reading the site in is sent with it, so we answer you in that language.
  • Demo scheduler. When you book a demo, the scheduler is Calendly's and opens in a window over our page. What you enter there — normally a name, an email address and a time — goes to Calendly and to us.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type (user-agent) and the time of your request, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Language preference. Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is never sent to us on its own.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

03 Third-party content

The typefaces, photography and film clips on this site are all served from our own server, so simply reading the page sends nothing to anyone else. The one exception is the demo scheduler: it loads Calendly's script and window only when you click to book a demo, and Calendly's own privacy notice covers what happens inside it. We embed no advertising or tracking scripts.

04 Why we use your data, and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry, hold a demo appointment and take steps at your request before entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and in operating a secure, functioning website (server logs) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

05 Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors who act only on our instructions:

  • Notion Labs, Inc. (USA) — your contact-form submission is stored as an enquiry card in our Notion workspace.
  • Calendly, LLC (USA) — demo bookings and the scheduling window itself.
  • Railway — hosting; serves the website and stores the server logs described above.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example to the United States), it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.

06 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking data for as long as needed to handle your request and, where a business relationship follows, for its duration plus any legal retention periods that apply (for example accounting obligations). Server logs are kept only for a short period for security purposes.

07 Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, and its rectification, erasure or restriction; object to processing; ask for portability; and withdraw any consent. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

08 Complaints

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — [email protected] — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

09 Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The site is served over HTTPS and the form posts over the same connection. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date always appear at the top of this page.
